As discussed telephonically I was able to receive a go ahead from the regional manager for Umhlanga and thus was able to complete the credit of ZAR 1448.99 back to your credit card.  I would like to take the opportunity to apologise on behalf of Avis as the entire matter was not handled well.
 
I only hope that the credit in some small way makes up for the inconvenience caused.
